1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Philippines World Massage Summit 2027 website (phlwms.com) and by registering for the event, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website or register for the event.
2. Event Overview
The Philippines World Massage Summit 2027 (PHLWMS 2027) is an international massage therapy competition and summit scheduled for April 17, 2027, in the Philippines. The event is organized by the PHLWMS Organizing Committee. All event details, schedules, and programs are subject to change at the organizers' discretion.
3. Registration & Eligibility
Participants must be licensed or certified massage therapists, students enrolled in an accredited massage therapy program, or meet the specific eligibility requirements for their chosen category. By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. Fraudulent or inaccurate registrations may result in disqualification without refund. Competitors may enter a maximum of two (2) categories. Registration is complete only upon receipt of full payment.
4. Registration Fees & Payments
All registration fees are listed in US Dollars (USD) and are processed securely through Stripe. Fees vary by registration type: Student ($100 per category), Competition ($150 per category per round), and Spectator ($10). Early bird pricing of $125 is available before January 27, 2027. A 10% discount applies for 2 categories or 2 rounds registered before January 31, 2027. Promo codes may be applied at checkout and are subject to their individual terms. The organizers reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.
5. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Registration fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed, except in cases where the event is cancelled by the organizers. If the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organizers' control (force majeure), registrants will be notified and a credit or partial refund may be offered at the organizers' discretion. Substitutions of registered participants may be permitted with prior written approval from the organizing committee. Requests must be submitted to [email protected] at least 30 days before the event.
6. Code of Conduct
All participants, spectators, sponsors, and volunteers are expected to conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and ethical manner throughout the event. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the event without refund. Participants must comply with all competition guidelines as outlined on the Categories & Guidelines page. The judges' decisions are final and binding.
7. Photography, Video & Media
By attending or participating in PHLWMS 2027, you grant the organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to photograph, film, and record your participation. These materials may be used for promotional, educational, and archival purposes across print, digital, and social media channels. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, you must notify the organizers in writing prior to the event.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and event materials, is the property of the PHLWMS Organizing Committee and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site without prior written permission from the organizers.
9. Limitation of Liability
The PHLWMS Organizing Committee shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from participation in the event, including but not limited to personal injury during competition, loss of personal belongings, or travel-related issues. Participants are responsible for their own health, safety, and travel arrangements. The organizers strongly recommend that all participants obtain appropriate travel and health insurance.
10. Health & Safety
All participants must be in good physical health to compete. The organizers reserve the right to require a medical clearance for any participant. Participants must immediately report any injury or health concern to event staff. The organizers will have first aid personnel on site but are not responsible for medical costs incurred during the event.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these terms or the event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Manila, Philippines.
12. Changes to These Terms
The PHLWMS Organizing Committee reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website or participation in the event after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
